Thomas Myles Dougherty

thomas_myles_dougherty_01Thomas Myles Doughtery is a 45 year old combat Veteran who served in World War II and disappeared from a Sioux City Cafe on January 12, 1961. Thomas lost both his arms in combat just below the elbows and used metal “hook” prosthetic devices on both his arms.  Thomas Myles Dougherty was licensed by the State of Iowa to drive with his prosthetic devices and drove a 1954 Ford Tudor, green in color.  Neither Thomas Myles Dougherty or his 1954 Ford Tudor have been seen since he went missing in 1961.

Thomas Myles Dougherty was born on September 29, 1915.  He is 6 feet tall and weighed 145 to 150 pounds.  Thomas had thinning graying-brown hair and light blue eyes.  As mentioned above, he is a double amputee and had hooks on both his arms as prosthetic devices.
