Usbaldo Hernandez grew up in Douglas, Arizona and lived in Douglas for 17 years before joining the U.S. Military. Usbaldo Hernandez would later work as a migrant farmer and married a woman named Aurora Herrera in Bisbee, Arizona in 1954. Usbaldo Hernandez did not own a vehicle and was known to hop trains to move across state lines. Usbaldo Hernandez often traveled by train between Arizona and California.
Usbaldo Hernandez was 43 years old when he went missing in 1969. Usbaldo is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed approximately 120 to 160 pounds at the time he disappeared. Usbaldo has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of an eagle with “open wings” on his upper portion of his right arm. You can just barely see an eagle wing in a photo below.
