William Joseph Jamison

william_joseph_jamison_01William Joseph Jamison is a U.S. Army Veteran who was last seen in the Chez Lounge at St. George Diner in Linden, New Jersey on March 27, 1981. William Joseph Jamison completed his military service at Fort Benning, Georgia having obtained the rank of Captain. While William Jamison was in the Army, he served as a helicopter pilot and served in Vietnam from July 24, 1970 through July 22, 1971. William flew in Company A, 227th Assault Helicopter Battalion of the First Cavalry Division.

Upon leaving the Army, William worked for a hospital management firm in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. William Jamison would later be transferred to a hospital in Margate, Florida where he would work as a financial manager. In the late 1970’s, William Jamison would gain employment with Haug Die Casting Co., in Kenilworth, New Jersey as a salesman.  William Jamison was later promoted to Vice President of Production with Haug Die Casting Co.. William Jamison worked at Haug Die Casting Co. at the time he went missing.

On March 27, 1981, William Joseph Jamison would drive his company car, a 1981 midnight blue in color Ford LTD Station Wagon with New Jersey License Plate 861-PKY, to the St. George Diner in Linden, New Jersey and never be seen or heard from again. William’s car has also yet to be located.

William Joseph Jamison was 33 years old at the time he went missing in 1981.  William Jamison is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed approximately 220 to 225 pounds at the time he went missing.  William Jamison has dark brown hair and green eyes. William has a 1 inch long scar under his chin and a scar on his right ear.  When William Jamison was last seen, he was possibly wearing a dark brown suede coat, a white or blue oxford dress shirt, dress slacks and dress shoes.  William Jamison wore size 6 1/2 shoes which were small compared to other males of his height.

    MISSING SINCE MARCH 26-27, 1981

    The family of Bill Jamison (William J. Jamison) is offering a REWARD of $100,000. for definitive and conclusive information as to the whereabouts of our brother, Bill, who disappeared the night of March 26-27, 1981. He was last seen in the Chez Lounge at the Linden Lanes Bowling Alley in Linden, NJ as well as the St. George Diner, also in Linden. Bill resided in Roselle Park, NJ and worked at Haug Die Casting in Kenilworth, NJ.

    Additionally, the family is offering a smaller REWARD (no less than $10,000. depending on what is recovered) for definitive and conclusive information as to the car Bill was driving the night he disappeared. That car was a 1981 Ford LTD Station Wagon, Midnight Blue with a stripe on sides, and its rear supports were modified to carry heavy loads, NJ Plate 861-PKY.
