Franklin Jay Osgood Jr.

franklin_jay_osgood_jr_01Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who was last seen in the Pacific Ocean between California and Catalina Island after a wave knocked him off a sailboat and attempts to return him to the boat failed  on April 30, 1988.  Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. is an accomplished sailor and owned two boats, but on April 30, 1988, high winds knocked him off the Sea Lust, a 51 foot sailboat.   Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. was not wearing a life jacket and attempts to save him by throwing a dinghy to him and pulling him to shore 3 times failed and Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. disappeared.  A search was conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard with no signs of Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. found.

Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. was 48 years old at the time he went missing in 1988.  Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed approximately 165 pounds when he disappeared.  Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. has brown hair, blue eyes and a tattoo of a black panther on his upper right arm.  Franklin Jay Osgood Jr. wears an upper denture plate.
