Randy Charles Spring is a U.S. Army Veteran who worked for the California Department of Forestry at the time of his disappearance and was also a volunteer firefighter with the Bostonia, California Fire Department.
On October 10, 1988, Spring asked to be dropped off at the intersection of Whitewater and Interstate 10 in Riverside, California to spend a few days hiking. He planned to tackle the northside of Mount San Jacinto, and said he would hitchike back home or call his family for a ride. Randy was carrying an Army-Green Backpack at the time he disappeared and it contained some food in Tupperware containers. There was a possible sighting of him between noon and 1:00 p.m. the day of his disappearance at the base of the mountains, but he has not been seen since.
Randy Charles Spring was 28 years old when he disappeared on October 10, 1988. Randy was 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 180 pounds. Randy has blonde hair, green eyes and some acne on his face. He was last seen wearing camouflage pants, a dark blue t-shirt and an Army-Green jacket.
