margaret_haddican_mcenroe_02Margaret I. Haddican-McEnroe went missing from Warren Township, New Jersey after last being seen at her house at about 1:30 PM on October 9, 2006.  Unfortunately, there are several different stories about what happened the day she went missing and what may have led to her disappearance.  We will briefly describe two below.

From the video by Investigation Discovery (posted below)

Margaret and her husband (Tim) had an argument at their home in Warren Township, NJ and Margaret had made plans to move in with her parents on the following day to separate herself from the situation.  On the day of the fight, her cell phone was broken and her husband called the police as Margaret left her house to go to her parents house. She did not show up at her parents house the following day as planned and they thought that Margaret may have changed her mind and decided to stay at the house with her husband.  Melissa left her infant baby, Melissa at the house and did not take her broken cell phone or a vehicle when she disappeared.  It was not until her husband’s Mother called the parents of Margaret asking if they had seen her that they realized she was missing.  Tim did not call the police to report her missing for about 48 hours.

From the North American Missing Persons Network (NAMPN.org):

Margaret was last seen about 1:30 PM at her home in Warren Township, NJ.  Her husband (Tim) left the home about 1:30 PM to run some errands and when he returned two hours later, Margaret was gone.  The couple’s three children, including their infant daughter, were home alone.  According to her husband, $11,000 in cash was missing from the house, but this has not been confirmed by authorities.  Since her disappearance, Margaret has not used credit cards or checks.

The National Missing and Unidentified Missing Persons Database (NAMUS.gov) at FindTheMissing.org states that: Margaret was last seen at approximately 1:30pm on 10/10/2006 (conflict with original missing date of October 9, 2006 also posted on NamUs), at her residence near the vicinity of Wychwood Way and Roundtop Rd in Warren Township, NJ. Margaret has a medical condition and may need medication.

Margaret is a U.S. Army Veteran and is a volunteer firefighter with the Mount Bethel Fire Department.  Margaret was last seen at her home in Warren Township, New Jersey on October 9, 2006 at around 1:30 PM.  Margaret has brown hair and brown eyes.  She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 110 and 115 pounds. Margaret has a
tattoo of a tribal design on abdomen, tattoo of a “fire helmet” on left thigh, along with numerous tattoos on her back. Per NCIC tattoos are described as “firefighter helmet on left calf, cross sun moon and word “trouble” on back, tribal tattoo around belly button around navel.”

At the time that Margaret disappeared, she was wearing a gray sweatshirt with “Army” in black lettering, white checkered pajama pants, white socks white “Nike” athletic shoes, black jacket with “BDU” on it. Margaret was wearing a silver chain with Military Identification Tags (Dog Tags) on it.  Margaret was wearing a whit wedding ring with three diamonds.
