Mason Muldoon VanKuiken

Mason_VanKuiken_06Mason Muldoon VanKuiken is an infantry Specialist and translator (English, Farsi and Pashtun) who officially went missing on March 18, 2013 from Fort Carson, Colorado.  Mason Muldoon VanKuiken was last seen on March 17th, 2013.  Mason had just returned from his second deployment to Afghanistan.  Mason was possibly being treated for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Mason is originally from Bradenton, Florida and left Fort Carson, Colorado on March 14, 2013 to visit a friend at Fort Hood, Texas who was also from Bradenton, Florida (but stationed at Fort Hood).  Along the way, Mason ran into a problem where his car was impounded because he did not have the proper permits for his gun collection which was inside his vehicle.  Mason’s car was impounded.  Mason was last seen on the 18th of March, 2013 in the Mills County area of East Texas and it was learned that he had spent the night at a hotel in Early, Texas.  Mason never returned to Fort Carson, Colorado.

Since Mason Muldoon VanKuiken went missing, he has not used his cell phone,  bank card or posted on any of his social media accounts.

Mason Muldoon VanKuiken was born in 1991, which made him 22 years old at the time he went missing.  Mason is 65 inches in height (5 feet 5 inches) and weighs 140 pounds.  Mason has brown eyes and brown hair.  Mason has a deformed right toenail, a small scar about 1 inch in length on the right side of his jaw and multiple moles on his back.  Mason also has a blue and green tattoo of a map of Florida (see photo gallery) on his right thigh. The tattoo of Florida has a dotted line on the map going down route 175 with an X in the location of Bradenton, Florida.  Mason was also wearing the following jewelry at the time of his disappearance: Military Identification Tags (Dog Tags), a wedding ring (brushed sterling, size 8 with thin polished grooves on either edge) and sunglasses.
