Updated December 14, 2015: The search for Mr. Watkins has ended. Family reports that Mark David Watkins has been located safe as of December 14, 2015.
Mark David Watkins is a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran who has not been heard from by family since November 2014. Mark Watkins suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and has received treatment from VA Medical Centers. Mark Watkins has been homeless on and off since 1997 and is known to have tried to stay close to the VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he can receive medical care. It is assumed that his last known location was Dallas, Texas. Mark Watkins enjoys computers and used to be very active on Social Media. The last contact Mark made with family was through facebook in November 2014 when he wished them a Happy Thanksgiving. Mark Watkins is wheelchair bound and family states that he is bi-polar and suffers from Diabetes. At one time, Mark Watkins was known to have owned a black jeep (unknown year, model and plate). It is not known if he still owns the vehicle. Family and friends are very concerned about his health and welfare and filed a Missing Persons Report on December 11, 2015.
Mark David Watkins was 67 years old at the time he went missing in November 2014 (D.O.B. 04/18/1947). Mark Watkins is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds. Mark Watkins has brown eyes and salt and pepper colored hair. Mark Watkins wears prescription glasses and may have facial hair (as shown in photos below)
