William Oskins is a U.S. Army Veteran who was last seen on June 29, 2014 at his home in the Tujunga area at 11100 Oro Vista Avenue in Los Angeles, California. On June 29, 2014, the son of William Oskins met him at church as he did most every week. The following Sunday, on July 6, 2014, his son went to meet him at church and William Oskins was not there. His son checked other places that day where he thought his father may be and after not finding his father, thought that he may have just missed him. On July 13, 2014, his son went to church again and did not see his father. People at the church told him that his father, William Oskins had not been seen since around July 4, 2014. Some people even thought that William was staying with his son.
William Oskins was receiving VA Disability Checks on the first of every month. Prior to going missing, the bank account that William Oskins had his money deposited into was emptied. The VA Disability checks continued to be deposited on the first of the month in the following months but the bank states that the bank account and the money deposited after his disappearance have not been touched.
William Oskins may also go by the name Bill Oskins or Billy Oksins. At the time William Oskins went missing, he was 62 years old. William Oskins is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. William Oskins was last seen wearing black pants or shorts and a black t-shirt with a white image of a woman’s back and red lettering above and below the image. William was also wearing olive green Nike brand high-top style tennis shoes with black soles, a green “Nike Swoosh” design on the side with blue color laces.
