Updated June 29, 2015: The search for Daniel “Danny” Domres has ended. Daniel Domres has been found safe and turned himself into Fort Carson officials on the evening of Sunday. June 28, 2015 [link to article].

SEARCH_ENDEDDaniel “Danny” Domres is a Private in the U.S. Army went missing and is considered Absent Without Leave (AWOL) from Fort Carson, Colorado as of May 11, 2015.  Fort Carson Military Police is “concerned about his (Daniel Domres) whereabouts and status” according to a news article published on May 22, 2015.  The family of Daniel “Danny” Domres is also concerned for his health and welfare and are actively trying to locate PVT Daniel Domres.

News reports state that Daniel “Danny” Domres may suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) after servng 9 months in Afghanistan.  The same news report quotes the mother of Daniel “Danny” Domres as saying that “He (Daniel Domres) has gotten into some trouble with the Army lately, and I guess he had an alcohol test that day.  After the test, he hasn’t been seen since.”

Prior to joining the Army, Daniel “Danny” Domres spent 9 years in Oswego, Illinois and still has friends in that area that he may reach out to.

Daniel “Danny” Domres is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs appoximately 155 pounds.  Daniel Domres was last seen wearing his Army Combat Uniform (ACU).
