Erik Davidson

Updated August 7, 2015: The search for Erik Davidson has ended. News reports have stated that it has been confirmed that he is deceased.  Rest In Peace Mr Davidson.

SEARCH_ENDEDErik Davidson is a U.S. Air Force Airman who was last seen on July 26, 2015 driving away from the Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey, California.  Erik Davidson is a student at DLI and was driving a rented silver Hyundai Accent with Nevada License Plate 938AZL.  The rental car has not been returned and calls to his cellphone go to voicemail.  According to a news report, his mother has said that he is considered to be at risk and may be suicidal.  The news report also mentions that friends of Erik Davidson said he had attempted suicide two times last month.

Erik Davidson is 20 years old as of the date he went missing in July 2015.  Erik Davidson is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds.  Erik Davidson has brown hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing skinny jeans, black long-sleeve shirt, blue shoes, glasses and a brown watch on his left wrist.

      A celebration of life of Erik Davidson will be held Thursday, August 20, 6PM at First Evangelical Covenant Church, 6024 L Street, Lincoln, NE 68510. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds will be collected and utilized to send teenagers to a triennial Christian Conference (CHIC) and contributed to a Christian College scholarship fund. Contributions to the Davidson memorial may be sent to First Evangelical Covenant Church.

    I’m so sad for his family! I remember when I first met Erik 🙂 . He was about in 6th or 7th grade. When i first met Erik, I said to him, “you’re so tall!”, and he shyly said, with a light giggle, “I know.” He had the pretties smile. My son introduced Erik to us. As time went by we would run into him and he always had a smile for us. He was comforting to us when my husband died. And it’s ironic that my soon-to-be last name is Davidson.
    Thank you Erik. You made an impact in my life.

    Erik, your a precious soul! He was my son’s best friend in high school in Tehachapi, Ca. He came over a lot for science projects,or just to visit and was always a joy to have around. So helpful, kind and generous. He held a special place in our hearts. We are heartbroken with your loss Erik! We will always love and miss you friend. Now you are in our Lord Jesus’ arms in heaven.
