Updated January 20, 2016: The search for James Kimsey has ended. Law Enforcement has stated that remains found less than a mile from Mr. Kimsey’s home are those of U.S. Air Force Veteran James “Mike” Kimsey. Rest in Peace Sir.
James “Mike” Kimsey is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who reported missing on May 29, 2015 after having been last seen at his home in Middletown, Kentucky on the night of May 28, 2015. James Kimsey is known to most as “Mike Kimsey”. After serving ten years as a pilot in the Air Force, Mike Kimsey worked for UPS as a pilot. He went missing while he was on medical leave from his job at UPS due to multiple surgeries that required daily medication. Mike is recovering from hip replacements as well as a shoulder surgery, and was in excellent physical shape other than that. He was working to strengthen his body so he could go back to work.
Mike’s son Brody graduated from kindergarten on May 28, 2015 and the family had gone to Chuck E Cheese after graduation. On May 29, 2015, his wife went downstairs and Mike was not there. His shoes were still there, his car was still in the driveway, and he had his wallet and cell phone with him apparently because they were gone too. His cell phone battery was dead after a day or so, and no activity on his credit card or bank accounts. The family was called by his wife on the 4th day after his disappearance.
Mike Kimsey is 48 years old as of the date he went missing in May 2015. Mike is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. Mike has salt and pepper gray hair and brown eyes.
