John Mathes is a U.S. Army World War II Veteran who was last seen at his home on Beaumont Place in Wintersville, Ohio in the afternoon of November 2, 2015 by his daughter. The daughter phoned John Mathes later that night to remind him to take his medicine and there was no answer. John Mathes suffers from dementia and other medical conditions that require medication. John Mathes has not had his medicine since he went missing and he may be really disoriented at this point. John Mathes may be driving his gray or silver 2007 Buick Lucerne or Buick Lacrosse with Ohio license plate 1PEPSI (photo below). John Mathes, also known to many people as “the Pepsi man” or “Pepsi John” used to be a deliveryman for Pepsi and his family believes that he may be on one of his old delivery routes.
John Mathes is 91 years old as of the date he went missing in November 2015. John Mathes is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. John Mathes has gray hair and brown eyes. John Mathes was last seen wearing blue jeans, a burgundy pin-striped shirt and a beige jacket.
The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office has received numerous tips of the 1PEPSI license plate being spotted in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and some calls claim that the license plate was observed as far away as Flint, Michigan. Unfortunately, contact has yet to be made with John Mathes.
