Updated June 11, 2016: The search for U.S. Air Force Veteran Donald Thomas has ended.  The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the body located in the Pine Flat Lake area on June 11. 2016 during a search which was made up of 50 searchers and 5 search dogs from 7 different agencies, is that of Mr Donald Thomas.  Rest in Peace Sir.

SEARCH_ENDEDDonald Thomas is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who went missing on the 5th of June,2016 from Sanger, California.  It is believed that around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th, Donald Thomas left his home located near E. Trimmer Springs and Sunnyslope Roads in Sanger, California to go for a walk and lost his way back home. Donald Thomas did not take his wallet or a cell phone with him. Donald Thomas suffers from medical conditions, which require him to take medication.  For the sake of his health, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department said it is critical that he be found as soon as possible. Donald Thomas is known to regularly visit the “I Forgot Store” at 29925 Sunnyslope Road, however, no one there has seen him recently.

Donald Thomas is 77 years old as of the date he went missing in June 2016.  Donald Thomas is described as a white male standing 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build and brown eyes. Donald Thomas has brownish-gray hair and is partially bald. Donald Thomas was last seen wearing a white shirt that says “Pine Flat Lake Marina”, blue and white swim trunks and brown shoes.  Although Thomas wears glasses, he did not take them with him.
