Halex Hale

Updated July 12, 2016: The search for Staff Sergeant Halex Hale, USAF has ended. Aviano Air Base has reported the following: At approximately 9:30 a.m., July 12, 2016, the body of Staff Sergeant Halex Hale was found in the Livenza River near Sacile, Italy. “We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life,” said Brig. Gen. Lance Landrum, the 31st Fighter Wing commander, “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, fellow Airmen and friends.” Rest in peace Staff Sergeant.

SEARCH_ENDEDHalex Hale is a U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant who went missing in the evening of July 2, 2016 from Sacile, Italy.  Halex Hale is assigned to the 31st Fighter Wing at Aviano Air Base and was last seen about nine miles from Aviano Air Base in the evening of July 2, 2016 at a cookout at a friends house in Sacile, Italy.  Halex Hale left the cookout on foot and had planned on walking about 15 minutes to a friends house, but never arrived.

Halex Hale is 24 years old as of the date he went missing in July 2016.
