Dr. John Marshall is a U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army Veteran who went missing on January 25, 2016 in Spokane, Washington. Dr. John Marshall is the Chief of Surgery at the Mann-Grandstaff Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. On the morning of January 25, 2016 at around 5:19 a.m. he was seen on security camera footage entering the YMCA at 1126 N. Monroe Street in Spokane which is part of his usual routine. Around 5:32 a.m., Dr. John Marshall is seen on security camera footage exiting the YMCA with his iPod and a light jacket. According to news reports, Dr. John Marshall usually goes for a run from about 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and reports to work by 7:00 a.m.. Law enforcement stated that it does not appear that he returned to the YMCA. Dr. John Marshall left his wallet, phone, keys and gym bag in a cubby at the YMCA. When Dr. John Marshall failed to show for appointments he had with patients on the morning of January 25, 2016, his wife, Dr. Suzan Marshall, went to the YMCA and found his car in the parking lot. Dr. Suzan Marshall contacted law enforcement and reported her husband missing on January 25, 2016.
