Updated June 28, 2016: The search for U.S. Air Force Veteran Lee J. Harper has ended. Law enforcement located Mr. Harper early in the morning on June 28, 2016 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. His daughter posted the following message: “Thank you facebook family across the states for your support, kind words, prayers and actions.”
Lee J. Harper is a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran who went missing from an assisted living center in Federal Way, Washington at around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Lee Harper is a resident at the Madrona Park Memory Care Center located at 31200 23rd Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003. According to the Federal Way Police Department, Lee Harper suffers from dementia and is prone to seizures. Lee Harper requires regular medication.
Lee J. Harper is 79 years old as of the date he went missing in June 2016. Lee Harper is described as a black male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. Lee Harper has gray hair and brown eyes. Lee Harper was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown leather shoes and he may be wearing a baseball style hat with a JBLM (Joint Base Lewis-McChord) pin or other military related pins.
