Scott “Scotty” Miller

Updated August 08, 2016: The search for Scott “Scotty” Miller has ended. Family announced on August 8, 2016, that Scott Miller has been located safe.  The family also added ” We are so grateful and overjoyed that he is safe and we offer our heartfelt gratitude for all of your efforts in bringing him home. Thank you all so much for your help and support”.

SEARCH_ENDEDScott “Scotty” Miller is a U.S. Navy Veteran who went missing from the Dekalb, Illinois area after last being seen by his brother on July 31, 2016. Scott Miller’s vehicle was found in an Ace Hardware parking lot in Geneva, Illinois and it was confirmed by the Geneva Police Department that Scott Miller took a cab to the Geneva Train Station.  It is believed that he may be heading toward the West Coast to the Washington, Portland or Oregon area after a customer at a 7-11 store near where his car was found came forward and told law enforcement that they had overheard him telling someone of his possible plans.  While at the 7-11, Scott Miller asked an employee to call a cab for him and he was seen leaving from the 7-11 in Geneva, Illinois.  Scott Miller may be carrying several bags or backpacks with him.  Scott Miller is known by other names such as “Scotty” and “Emzie“.

Scott “Scotty” Miller is 34 years old as of the date he went missing in July 2016.  Scott Miller is described as a white male standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. Scott Miller has green eyes and has his hair cut into a mohawk which black with a neon yellow dye. Scott Miller has several tattoos and facial piercings as shown in the photos below.
