Taylor J. Phinney

Updated July 6, 2016: The search for A1C Taylor J. Phinney has ended. On July 6, 2016, The Air Force Office of Special Investigations announced that Taylor Phinney was arrested by local law enforcement in the morning of July 6, 2016 in Fort Collins, Colorado.

SEARCH_ENDEDTaylor Phinney is a U.S. Air Force A1C who went missing from Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina between June 18-21, 2016. Taylor Phinney failed to report for duty on June 21, 2016 and his 1997 red (very faded) Kia Sephia was found in Mt. Vernon, Illinois at a Holiday Inn on June 23, 2016.  On Monday June 27, 2016, Taylor Phinney was tracked by investigators to a Super 8 Motel in Denver, Colorado, but he had already checked out.  Taylor Phinney was last seen in Denver, Colorado on June 27, 2016 wearing a blue t-shirt and carrying a black backpack.  Taylor does not have a vehicle anymore and is believed to be using public transportation. 

As of June 30, 2016,  A1C Taylor Phinney is currently listed as being wanted for desertion by the U.S. Air Force (NCIC  Number: W126548335).

Taylor Phinney is 21 years old as of the date he went missing in June 2016.  Taylor Phinney is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 167 pounds.  Taylor Phinney has a small build, brown hair and brown eyes.
